KISS, TOKYO pop-up at “ICE CREAM FEVER DAY” held at Shibuya PARCO

Ahead of the release of “Ice Cream Fever,” the first movie directed by Tetsuya Chihara, founder of KISS, TOKYO, we opened a pop-up store at the one-day event “ICE CREAM FEVER DAY” held at Shibuya PARCO on June 20 (Tue).
It was a beautiful day and the store was crowded with customers throughout the day.

KISS, TOKYO is supporting the movie “Ice Cream Fever” and other brands and stores involved in the film will open pop-up stores on the 10th floor commune. The main location of the ice cream shop “SHIBUYA MILLION ICE CREAM” which appears in the film, Sarutahiko Coffee will sell ice cream that appears in the film. And “Ice Cream Fever” collaboration goods from Adastria “niko and …” were also popular.

The event also included a talk session with Tetsuya Chihara, MEGUMI and Serena Motola, who also appear in the film, and Kayoko Yoshizawa, who sings the theme song. Visitors were able to enjoy up-close conversations between Chihara and the guests, as well as episodes related to the film, and were moved to tears by Yoshizawa’s special live performance!

At KISS, TOKYO pop-up store, sales staff served customers wearing the yellow uniforms of the “SHIBUYA MILLION ICE CREAM” ice cream shop. KISS, TOKYO merchandise used in the film and STAFF T-shirts with the KISS, TOKYO logo printed with the credits of companies and members involved in the film were very popular. “Shibunama” craft beer available only at the Shibuya Ward address, was also sold out!

The friendly and warm atmosphere made the event even more exciting for the movie “Ice Cream Fever” . Thank you very much for your attendance.

“Ice Cream Fever” (film)
The first film directed by Tetsuya Chihara, who is also the founder of KISS, TOKYO, will be shown at TOHO CINEMAS Hibiya, Shibuya CINE QUINTO, etc. on July 14 (Fri.). The film is based on “Ice Cream Fever,” which is included in the short story collection “Ai no Yume toka” (Kodansha Bunko) by Akutagawa Award-winning author, Mieko Kawakami. The film is based on Mieko Kawakami’s unique world view. Starring Riho Yoshioka, Serena Motola, Utaha (Wednesday Campanella), Marika Matsumoto, and others.
