SOCIAL INNOVATION WEEK SHIBUYA, celebrating its 5th anniversary this year, is one of the largest social design festivals in Japan, where you can network with diverse companies and new business communities and experience the ideas and solutions that will lead society in the future. The festival is an urban festival in Shibuya, Tokyo, where people can experience the ideas and solutions that will lead society in the future.
Tetsuya Chihara, also a founder of KISS, TOKYO, took the stage at the Shibuya Ideas Conference’s “Shibuya Kawabata Kaigi,” which was open to the public on November 12th (Sat) of the six-day event from November 8th (Tue) to 13th (Sun), 2022.
KISS, TOKYO bench object was used as the location for this conversation.
The theme of the talk was the “Shibuya River,” and together with Akifumi Kumai, executive Director of GAKU, who has been continuously involved in the “Shibuya River,” the participants talked about past activities, future prospects, and the future of the Shibuya River. The facilitator was Shibuya Keizai Shimbun editor-in-chief, Mr. Nishi, who is also a radio personality in Shibuya.
