From September 1st (Wed) to 14th (Tue), a pop-up store “ISETAN × KISS, TOKYO ～TOKYO DESIGN MEETING～” will be held at ISETAN Leaf on the 1st floor of Isetan Shinjuku main store.
ISETAN Leaf buyer Takeshi Kobayashi and KISS, TOKYO creative director Tetsuya Chihara have curated a selection of Tokyo factories including T-shirts, hats, and vintage clothing.
The T-shirts and sweatshirts are made in Japan by <KUME SEN-I Co.,Ltd.>, which is known for its excellent comfort, and are printed with messages from artists such as Daiki Kudo (Da-ice), Yukosu, Terry Ito, MEGUMI, and Ichiro Yatsui, who have appeared in “KISS, TOKYO PAPER” (a free paper published by KISS, TOKYO).
In addition, Tetsuya Chihara designed hats made by <TOKIO HAT>, founded by Eiichi Shibusawa, remakes of KISS, TOKYO items by <THE CHARLIE TOKYO>, a leading vintage store in Tokyo that offers a wide range of products, select items from the pioneer of SUKA-JAN pioneer <TAILOR TOYO>. The high-class umbrella manufacturer <Maehara Kouei Shoten> offered “Evangelion” collaboration umbrellas.
The first collaboration item with Ball & Chain, which produces fashionable eco-bags and has collaborated with many brands, will also be offered.
In collaboration with artists and creators, this pop-up store will be a place where you can encounter the factory’s fine products from a new angle.
During the period, THE CHARLIE TOKYO will demonstrate embroidery and silkscreen printing, and we are planning to invite artists related to KISS, TOKYO as guests for an Instagram live.
